Ever heard of Emeli Sande’s song “Read all about it”? It is an encapsulation of the power of using your voice to make a change. Growing up as a talkative little girl in, you can say I was quiet to the world around me.

Durring my teens, I started to voice out using poetry and words to find my identity and place in the world. They were the most exciting and liberating moments I had the privilege of experiencing. Everyone has this thing, could be words, a scream, a melody or a sound that lies within. What are you doing with it?

What is that thing you want to say, where are those words that could influence or bring a change? There are those who express it with paint on a canvas, others express it on a sheet, some deliver it with melodious tunes to be heard.

Though, these are but to mention a few, you will have to find out what is yours and how you vocalize it for the world to understand. Whatever it is, don’t hide it, that inner weirdness or uniqueness. Readily give what you have, Readily give and pour that consumes and compels you to the world.
